Compiled in partnership with Chicago Public Schools, we have developed the second installment of the Annual Regional Analysis (ARA). The intent of the ARA is not to provide recommendations, but rather a set of findings based on the data that serve as an input to community dialogue and district planning. The ARA is a comprehensive set of facts organized around four key education dimensions by geographic region:

1. Quality—HOW MANY LEVEL 1+/1 SEATS ARE THERE?

2. Quantity—HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE FOR THE STUDENT POPULATION?

3. Choice—ARE STUDENTS CHOOSING SCHOOLS IN THEIR REGION?

4. Variety—DO STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE VARIETY OF SCHOOLS AND PROGRAMS OFFERED?
